GSA Approves Annual Budget for AY 20/21 and Passes a Resolution on the Conflict in Artsakh

At the Monday, November 1 meeting of the General Assembly (GA), the GA passed its budget for the current academic year. The budget allocates funds for the GSA’s initiatives, advocacy, and regular operations.

The GA also passed Resolution F20-003: Call for Yale Administration to support Yale Students Affected by Azerbaijan and Artsakh Conflict by a vote of 66-3. The resolution urges the University’s leadership to publicly acknowledge the deleterious effects of the conflict on members of the Yale community and to publicly advocate for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the region.
