The international students’ committee is a recently-formed ad-hoc committee of the GSA. We focus on any issues pertaining to international students in particular, working closely with the Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) and other GSA committees where relevant.
Current Initiatives
- Working on getting curricular practical training (CPT) approval for Master’s students on F-1 visas.
- Liaising with the OISS to identify and advocate for additional concerns that international students have.
