Conference Travel Fellowship Committee

The Conference Travel Fellowship (CTF) Committee works with GSAS to manage the CTF. Please see the CTF tab to find more details.

PhD students may apply for up to $800 to support travel to recognized professional conferences and academic meetings as a program participant presenting on a non-international topic. The grant supplements funds that the student can receive from their home department or from the conference if it provides travel subsidies. This grant is available to PhD students in programs in the Humanities, Sciences, and the Social Sciences. PhD students in years 3–5 of their program have priority for funding; students in years 1–2 and 6 are eligible to apply for funds subject to availability (see below for further information on eligibility). Students presenting on an international topic are not eligible for this award and instead should submit an application for the MacMillan Center International Conference Travel Grant. Graduate Student Assembly Conference Travel Fellowships will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please email the committee chair, Colton Klein (colton.klein@yale.edu).
