The Service Committee works on coordinating and promoting service related initiatives to benefit the graduate student body. We aim to provide resources that support graduate students to improve their quality of life not only as students but also as residents of New Haven.

Current Initiatives
- Food pantry
- We are continuing to stock a food pantry of nonperishable items within the McDougal Center for graduate students.
- Tax facts
- A series of presentations held in the spring by a tax professional with general advice on how to file your taxes.
- Ask-A-Lawyer program
- In partnership with the New Haven Bar Association, this allows students to seek legal advice on personal matters.
- Financial literacy sessions
- Personal finance workshops or seminars geared toward graduate students.
