Service

The Service Committee works to address the needs of graduate students, with a particular emphasis on alleviating food insecurity.

Current Initiatives

• Sustaining a food pantry with the McDougal Graduate Student Center to provide students with free shelf-stable foods

• Sharing best practices and data on how food insecurity is being addressed in the School of Medicine and the School of Music

• Gathering data regarding the prevalence and severity of food insecurity amongst graduate students

• Compiling data on food insecurity to present a comprehensive report to GSAS deans

• Improving access to feminine hygiene products in Yale restrooms
