Get excited for several bone marrow donation events happening this week!
*Thursday April 2, 6.30 pm @ Hope 216 - "Bone Marrow Donation: You
Can Save a Life!"

Come hear *Ms Cammy Lee and Dr Kevin Ching kick off the our
marrow drives with an interactive talk about bone marrow and
peripheral blood stem sell donations, particularly the need of
increasing registration among minority groups in the US. Cammy and
Dr Ching will share with us their insights as a leukemia patient and
as a clinician and provide both an epidemiological and biological
perspective on blood cancers and marrow registrations.
Cammy Lee is the recruitment manager of the Cammy Lee Leukemia
Foundation and former leukemia patient and bone marrow recipient.
Dr Kevin Ching is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at YNHH
and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cammy Lee Leukemia
Foundation.
This is an informal talk with plenty of opportunity for Q&A. It's
sure to be a informative and interactive presentation, so don't miss
it!!

Yale Bone Marrow Drive Volunteer

Come learn how to you can take part in the three drives happening
across Yale the following day, Friday April 3. As a volunteer, you
will be trained to help people register using buccal swab kits.
*Friday April 3, 11 am to 2.30 pm - Save a Life! Come Get
Registered for the National Marrow Donor Program!

Three bone marrow drives will take place simultaneously across the
Yale community in the Harkness Ballroom, Y*ale New Haven Hospital
Cafetaria* and the Undergraduate Commons.
Pick a location and come register for the National Marrow Donor
Program! Registration is painless and takes just a few minutes.
Snacks available for registers.
