Before winter break, graduate students from the Neuroscience and Neurobiology programs met to discuss student issues. In general, students were happy with their individual programs, and most of their concerns were ones relevant to most graduate students, such as the need for dental care and prescription birth control from the health plan.

There was substantial talk on transit issues, and students suggested that the Blue line should extend the Day Route longer, or that the Blue Route shuttle should continue all night, with another route added that would take people door-to-door.

Students were also frustrated with the current policy on taxes, and most wished that the University would simply take taxes out of their paychecks.
