The Epidemiology and Public Health department had their departmental meeting
on Thursday December 11th, 2008. We had a wide range of students, from
first-years through fifth-years. During the meeting the departmental
representatives, Norrina Allen and Jeremy Green, shared information about
recent GSA initiatives and resources. Concerns from students included:

-Continued lack of vision and dental coverage.

-Need for greater consistency in the opportunities offered to TAs by faculty.

-Some students voiced concerns about increased need for faculty mentoring.
