What: On Wednesday, September 10, GSA departmental representatives will meet for the first GSA Assembly Meeting of 2008-09. We will talk with Graduate School Dean Butler, and we will also elect our new Healthcare Liaison.
In the past, GSA's Healthcare Liaison has been responsible for organizing communication between graduate students and various Yale administrative offices, regarding Yale Health Plan's (YHP) quality of care, the design and construction of YHP's new building, graduate interest in dental plans and revisions to Prescription Plus coverage and rates, University or federal subsidy for student birth control prescriptions, and more.
As always, all graduate students are welcome to attend our Assembly Meeting. We especially welcome students who would like to raise a particular issue, or who are interested in advocating for improvements to graduate student experiences at Yale. Please contact gsa@yale.edu for more information.
