On the evening of October 31 the French, Spanish, and Italian Departments had a joint panel session on mentoring.  The panel included five members from the various departments and both junior and senior faculty members.  The discussion included professors' various personal experiences, general thoughts on what makes up a good mentoring relationship, and suggestions as to how junior faculty members might benefit from closer mentoring relationships as well as graduate students.  Any questions about this panel should be directed to either claire.mcmurray@yale.edu or nicholas.goodbody@yale.edu.
